Ways to work together

Choose the engagement that fits your team.

The right arrangement depends on how clear the problem is and who will manage delivery. We agree the scope, responsibilities, and commercial terms before work begins.

Discovery and scoping

Useful when the problem is clear but the solution, priorities, or dependencies still need investigation.

How we work
Review the user journey, current process, constraints, and available evidence with the people who own the outcome.
How scope and cost are agreed
Agree a bounded discovery scope and its outputs before starting. Use the findings to decide whether and what to build.

Leave with a clearer next decision and an agreed basis for an estimate.

Discuss discovery

Managed project delivery

Useful when you need a team to coordinate design, engineering, QA, and release around an agreed outcome.

How we work
Define responsibilities, acceptance criteria, review points, and dependencies. Review working increments as delivery progresses.
How scope and cost are agreed
Use agreed milestones for defined scope, or an agreed capacity model where priorities will evolve. Document changes and their impact.

Choose this when you need coordinated delivery across disciplines.

Discuss project delivery

Team extension

Useful when you already have product or engineering leadership and need additional skills or delivery capacity.

How we work
Interview proposed specialists, agree overlap hours, and work together in your existing tools, repositories, and planning process.
How scope and cost are agreed
Agree the role, rate, availability, notice terms, and a one-week paid trial before a longer engagement.

Choose this when your team will manage daily priorities and technical decisions.

Discuss team extension

A first conversation helps identify the appropriate engagement. Discovery outputs, delivery dates, rates, support, and ownership terms belong in the written proposal and agreement.

Before you request an estimate

Make scope, cost, and ownership clear.

A useful proposal explains what will be delivered, which assumptions affect the price, and what your team needs to provide. These questions help you compare development partners on the same basis.

A short brief is enough to start.

Tell us who the product serves, the problem to solve, what exists today, your timing, and any budget constraints. Share sensitive access or data only through an agreed process.

What determines software development cost?

The estimate depends on the user journeys, roles, integrations, data migration, design work, and reliability or security requirements. Separate build costs from hosting, third-party services, model usage, and ongoing support. A smaller first release can reduce initial scope; it still needs the controls and testing required for its intended use.

How is the delivery timeline planned?

Plan around a defined release and the dependencies it needs: decisions, content, API access, data, reviews, and deployment approvals. Agree milestones and acceptance criteria with named owners. Where an existing codebase or integration is unfamiliar, investigate it before treating the schedule as a commitment.

What should be included in the handover?

Agree code and IP terms, repository access, deployment responsibilities, documentation, credentials handling, and support before the engagement starts. For AI features, include evaluation examples, knowledge updates, operating limits, and a way for your team to review or pause the workflow.

Software Development FAQ

Questions before we start.

Clear answers about scope, cost, AI choices, existing software, and working with our team.

What does Code Huddle build?

Code Huddle is a software development company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. We work on AI integrations and agents, SaaS platforms, custom web and mobile applications, product design, QA, cloud infrastructure, and dedicated engineering teams. The service pages explain the scope of each capability, and the case studies describe specific delivered projects.

Can you help us decide what belongs in an MVP?

Yes. We can work through the first customer, their core journey, the evidence you need from a release, and the constraints on delivery. Discovery helps separate required launch scope from later ideas. If a prototype or manual process can answer the next question sooner, that should be considered before commissioning a full build.

Can you improve an existing application instead of rebuilding it?

Yes. We can review an existing codebase, user journeys, integrations, and deployment process to identify a useful first scope. A focused fix or migration may be more appropriate than a rewrite. The recommendation depends on the condition of the system and the outcome you need.

Do we need an AI agent, a chatbot, or ordinary automation?

Use ordinary automation for predictable steps, a knowledge chatbot for answers from maintained sources, and an agent when a task needs model-guided decisions across tools. We assess the workflow, data, permissions, and success criteria before choosing an implementation. Consequential actions should have agreed approval and escalation rules.

How much will our software project cost?

An estimate follows the scope, user roles, integrations, design work, data readiness, and release requirements. We discuss budget constraints early and explain assumptions in the proposal. Development, hosting, third-party services, AI usage, and ongoing support should be identified separately so you can compare the full cost.

How long will development take?

The schedule depends on the first release, the work required, and access to decisions, systems, and data. We agree milestones, review points, dependencies, and acceptance criteria before committing to delivery dates. New findings or scope changes should be discussed with their effect on cost and timing.

Should we choose project delivery or a dedicated team?

Managed project delivery is suited to an agreed outcome that needs coordination across design, engineering, QA, and release. Team extension is suited to a business with existing leadership that will manage priorities and technical decisions. Discovery is useful when the scope is not yet clear enough to choose either model.

Who owns the code and how does handover work?

Ownership, IP, repository access, deployment responsibilities, and support are defined in the engagement agreement. Agree documentation, operational access, credential transfer, and release handover as part of the scope. Discuss any existing code, third-party licenses, or restrictions before work starts.

Can we discuss a project under an NDA?

Yes. An NDA can be discussed before sensitive project details are shared. Start with a non-confidential outline of the problem and the systems involved. Access arrangements, data handling, and any security or compliance requirements need to be agreed for the actual project.

What happens after we send a project enquiry?

We review your outline and follow up to clarify the intended users, business goal, current system, priorities, and constraints. The next step may be a scoping discussion, a review of existing work, or a conversation about team requirements. You do not need a finished technical specification to make an enquiry.
